We are really happy with this bar. It contains 20% roasted New Zealand hazelnuts; stoneground with Shirl + Moss' single-estate cacao, resulting in a soft, buttery texture. The sweet orange and sprinkle of Marlborough sea salt lift this bar to a whole new level of deliciousness. We just can’t get enough of it.
The cacao inside this chocolate is the Trinitario varietal. A slightly hotter roast profile was used to create a more stable base for the hazelnut flavour.
Shirl + Moss hand sort, roast, crack, winnow, and stone grind for up to for 80 hours before ageing their chocolate. They then temper, mold and hand-wrap each bar in their little factory.
